There are also other resources you can download, such as line art and even custom Procreate brushes. Most of the tutorials also come with time-lapse videos you can watch online. So this is a fantastic book that can get you up to speed with various digital painting techniques possible with Procreate. Procreate has a lot of features and I'm constantly discovering new ways to do things. And you can also study the process and approach of each artist. The good thing about the tutorials are the subjects are quite varied, so you get to explore Procreate's functionality as much as possible. The artists talk about their process from start to finish, shares software tips and painting techniques. The subject matters are on illustration, character design, fantasy landscape, fantasy creature, traditional media, space ship, plein air and sci-fi creatures. The highlight of the book are the eight full-length digital painting tutorials contributed by these eight artists: Basically you'll get to learn what Procreate is capable of. The book starts off with the basics of the software such as the user interface, tools, menus, palettes and functionality. No prior knowledge with Procreate is needed since this book is for beginners.
